Rimmel Lasting Finish Lipstick Matte in 110 by Kate Moss

Hey guys! Today I want to show you guys my new go-to lipstick. I am obsessed with how amazing this color is. Most of the time when I am going out I mostly like to do a very simple eye with winged out liner and really make my statement with a bold lip color. Lately, that had been my Maybelline Color Sensational Lipstick in 455 Mauve-Ulous because it went with the season, but now that we are moving on from winter I am leaving that color behind and have fallen in love with Rimmel's Lasting Finish Matte lipstick in shade 110 by Kate Moss. I think it might just be my favorite "bold" shade in my collection.

Hola! Hoy quiero mostrarles mi lápiz labial nuevo con el cual estoy obsesionada. Me encanta este color! La mayoría del tiempo cuando voy a salir mantengo mis ojos sencillos aplicando mi delineador formando una cola y pintando mis labios de algún color un poco mas riesgoso. Ultimamente, ese color había sido el Maybelline Color Sensational Lipstick in 455 Mauve-Ulous porque pegaba con la temporada pero ahora que estamos saliendo de el invierno estoy dejando ese color atrás. Ahora me estoy obsesionando con el color 110 de Rimmel Lasting Finish Matte de Kate Moss. Creo que es mi color favorito de mis colores brillantes.

I describe the color as a vibrant pinky/red with orange undertones. The balance between red and orange in this lipstick is what, for me, really makes it stand out. The formula is marketed and a matte one, however I would describe it as a semi-matte because it is creamy enough to actually give off a bit of sheen. It is moisturizing and while not the most long-lasting color I would not say it fades any faster than most lipsticks. I have to say I this is one of the better lipstick formulas I have tried in terms of how good it feels on your lips. There are five shades in this collection so if you are not a fan of "loud" shades like this one I would still recommend you to check any of the other colors out just because your lips will thank you.

Describo este color como un rojo/rosado brillante que tiende a coral. El balance entre el anaranjado y el rojo en este lápiz labial es lo que, para mi, realmente hace este color resaltar. La fórmula la describen como matte pero yo la describiría como semi-matte solo porque la cremosidad del pintalabios deja un poco de brillo. Es humectante y aunque no es el color más duradero no diría que dura menos que la gran mayoría de los lápices labiales en el mercado. Debo decir que esta es una de la mejores fórmulas que he probado en términos de como se siente en los labios. Hay cinco colores en esta colección así que si no te gustan estos colores "chillones" aún te recomiendo que verifiques algún otro color que te pueda gustar porque tus labios de lo agradecerán.

I was Just Bitten by Revlon!

From the moment I heard about them I knew I had to have them! I’m talking about the new Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain. I had been on the hunt for it for a while and when I finally found a display for it at my local Walgreens I ran and I snagged this one in 030 Smitten.

Desde el momento que escuche de ellos sabía que tenía que tenerlos! Hablo del nuevo lápiz labial humectante con color de Revlon. Estaba en la búsqueda hace un tiempito y cuando finalmente lo encontré en mi Walgreens local, corrí y agarré este en 030 Smitten.

Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain in 030 Smitten

Revlon is definitely my favorite drugstore brand and they have been releasing a bunch of new stuff. Well, they have yet to disappoint, and this balm stain is not an exception. They compare it to Tarte’s Lip Surgence but I don’t own any so I will only focus on what I love about them. It applies smoothly and opaquely with a lot of shine to it. I put it to the test placing it on my lips in the morning and the stain was still on my lips well after lunch. When you apply it it has a wonderful shine to it and you will notice that it transfers like a normal lipstick and you lose the shine but what makes it special is that it leaves its color behind as a stain on your lips. It has a minty smell and feel to it also. I’ve tried staining products like this before but this is the first I really like because it doesn’t dry out your lips. At $9.49 (of course price will vary by location) I will be on the lookout for a Revlon bogo to go ahead and purchase some more colors. This is the perfect date lipstick, by the end of the night you still have color on your lips but no chance of transferring to your sweetie when you seal it with a kiss.

Revlon es definitivamente mi marca favorita de farmacia y han estado creando muchos productos nuevos. Hasta ahora no me han fallado y este lápiz labial humectante no es una excepción. Lo comparan con el Lip Surgence de Tarte pero yo no puedo opinar al respecto porque no tengo ninguno así que solo hablaré de porque me encantan. Aplica liso y opaco con mucho brillo. Lo puse a prueba aplicándolo en la mañana y todavía tenía color en mis labios hasta bastante después del almuerzo. Cuando lo aplicas tiene mucho brillo y como cualquier otro lápiz labial se va transfiriendo durante el día pero lo que lo hace especial es que le deja un tinte a tus labios que dura horas. También tiene un olor y un sensación a menta. He utilizado productos así antes pero este es el único que realmente me ha gustado ya que no reseca los labios. Por $9.49 (claro los precios varían por lugar) definitivamente estaré en búsqueda de una buena oferta para obtenerlos en otros colores. Este es el labio perfecto para una cita, al finalizar la noche tus labios todavía tendrán color pero no habrá ningún riesgo de pintar a tu amado cuando termines la noche con un beso.

Summer Lovin' for your Lips

I don’t know about all of you, but I am a lip balm kind of girl. I cannot stand having my lips feeling dry or chapped, so I am that girl that always has some type of lip conditioning product in her purse, another in her car, one more on her nightstand and of course one in her makeup bag. Especially now that summer is here and I plan on getting an extra amount of sun exposure I need to keep my lips protected and moisturized. Here are my three all-time favorite lip conditioning products.

No sé de ustedes, pero yo soy esa chica que siempre anda untándose protector labial. No soporto sentir los labios resecos o partidos, así que siempre ando con un bálsamo labial en la cartera, en el carro, en la mesa de noche y, por supuesto, en mi bolsa de maquillaje. En especial ahora en verano que tengo planes de pasar un poco mas de tiempo exponiendo mi piel al sol es necesario para mi mantener mis labios protegidos y humectados. Aquí mis tres bálsamos labiales favoritos.

I’ll start with my EOS lip balm smooth sphere in sweet mint. This product is 95% organic, paraben, and petrolatum free, made with shea butter and vitamin E. This is definitely the one to keep on the nightstand since it has no spf, it glides on clear and is INCREADIBLY moisturizing. I like to put this on before I go to bed and just as I wake up as it keeps my lips hydrated all night.

Empezaré con el bálsamo labial de Eos en sweet mint. Este producto es 95% orgánico, libre de parabenos y vaselina, hecho con manteca de karité y enriquecido con vitamina E. Este es, sin duda, el que mantengo en la mesa de noche ya que no tiene spf, aplica transparente y humecta INCREIBLEMENTE. Me gusta utilizarlo por la noches antes de acostarme y justo al levantarme porque mantiene mis labios perfectamente humectados toda la noche.

The Nivea a Kiss of Flavor tinted lip care in Strawberry is one I tend to keep in my bookbag to apply in between classes. The one I have only has spf 4 but I will soon be picking up the new formula (with the hope that it’s even better) which has an spf of 10. This little tube has lasted me for ever (almost out :( ), it moisturizes nicely and the little bit of tint it gives is perfect to give a little life to your face when you’re wearing little to no makeup.

El bálsamo Nivea, ‘Un beso de Sabor’ en Strawberry es uno que suelo llevar en mi bolso de libros para aplicar entre clases. Este que tengo solo tiene un spf de 4 pero pronto estaré comprando el nuevo (esperando que sea una fórmula aun mejor) que tiene un spf de 10. Este pequeño tubo me ha durado una gran cantidad de tiempo (casi se me acaba :( ), humecta muy bien y es perfecto para darle solo un poco de color a tu cara cuando llevas muy poco a nada de maquillaje.

Lastly, the Neutrogena revitalizing lip balm in Sunny Berry 30 is my newest lip balm and while it has been occupying its space in my purse it’s well on its way to becoming my everyday balm. With an spf of 20 it works great to keep your lips protected from sun exposure and it has a by far the most tint to it.

Por último, el bálsamo de Neutrogena en Sunny Berry 30 es mi mas reciente y ha estado ocupando un lugar en mi cartera, aunque está en camino a convertirse es mi humectante labial de todos los dias. Con un spf de 20 hace un excelente trabajo protegiendo mis labios del sol y de todos, es el mas color provee.
