The other day a good friend of mine recommended I try imPress press-on nails so I figured a wedding was a perfect occasion to try these out. I picked these up at Walmart for about $5.00 and I am pleased to say...”ME LIKEY!”.

They come inside a secure really cute plastic container shaped like a nail polish bottle. You get 24 nails in 12 different shapes. The instructions for applying are on the back.You choose the nails sizes that will fit (it is suggested to go with a the smaller fit if you cant find a perfect one), prep your nails swiping with the pad included, remove the plastic that covers the glue by pulling on the tab and stick. As easy and quick as that!

Vienen dentro de un envase seguro y muy lindo en forma de esmalte. Trae 24 uñas en 12 tamaños diferentes. Las instrucciones para aplicarlas están en la parte de atrás. Primero escoges los tamaños apropiados (recomiendan escoger el tamaño mas pequeño si no consigues el perfecto), luego las preparas con el pañito incluido, remueves el plástico que cubre la pega comenzando por la parte que sobresale y las pegas. Tan simple y rápido como eso!

What set these apart is that they feel comfortable on the nail, not like the nails you used to play around with when you were little. They don’t feel bulky and if applied correctly can look fairly natural. I featured these nails in a previous post and got a lot of compliments on the nail color. They come in a variety of different colors and designs which you could mix and match. Supposedly they last a week though mine only lasted four days, that said my nails always get a nice beating (I know! I should be more gentle with them!). Once one came of I was able to pull the rest away pretty easily without damaging the nail.

Lo que las hace diferente es que se sienten cómodas en la uñas, no como las uñas postizas con las que jugabas cuando niña. No se sienten falsas ni aparatosas y si las aplicas correctamente se pueden ver bastante naturales. Las utilicé en una entrada que coloqué en el blog recientemente y recibí muchos halagos por el color. Vienen en una variedad de colores y diseños que te permiten ser creativo y hasta combinarlos si quieres. Dicen durar una semana, pero las mías solo duraron 4 días, tengan en cuenta sin embargo que yo suelo darle una pela a mis uñas (lo sé! tengo que tratarlas con mas cariño!). Una vez una se despegó pude remover el resto bastante fácilmente sin causarle daño a la uña.

I like how they look and I think they are great for special occasions. I also plan on having one on stock for those time where my nails just don’t want to work with my and brake off into a mess of ickyness. They seem like a great alternative to give your natural nails a chance to grow back and cover up a messed up mani.

A mi me gusta mucho como lucen y pienso que son una excelente opción para ocasiones especiales. También pienso tener unas en reserva para cuando mis uñas deciden no cooperar conmigo,se parten y se vuelven un desastre. Aussie 3 Minute Miracle Review

Today I will be raving about yet another wonderful product that I’ve recently discovered. I recently purchased Aussies’s 3 Minute Miracle Deeeeep Treatment and it took only two uses to convince me that I loved it. About a month ago I decided to play a bit with my hair and got highlights throughout. My hair is naturally dark brown so this meant bleaching my hair, in some part it was already bleached so this meant even more damage. I’ve been growing out my hair and I really want to keep it healthy but this last bleaching really messed with my tips. So on my search for a deep conditioning treatment I came across wonderful reviews for this product and decided I had to pick it up.

Hoy estaré hablando sobre un producto más que he descubierto recientemente. Recientemente compré Aussie’s 3 Minute Miracle Tratamiento Profundo y solo me tomó usarlo dos veces para convencerme que lo amaba. Hace como un mes decidí jugar un poco con mi pelo y hacerme “highlights” en todo. Mi pelo es naturalmente marrón oscuro y  esto significó decolorarme el pelo hasta en algunas partes que ya estaba decolorado lo que le causó más daño aún. Estoy tratando crecer mi pelo largo y mantenerlo saludable pero esta última decoloración le causó mucho daño a mis puntas. Así que en mi búsqueda por un tratamiento humectante para mi cabello me topé con muchas buenas reseñas de este producto y me decidí que tenía que tratarlo.

There is not much to say other than it does what it says. It offers deep conditioning to dry damage hair. By no means did it fix my split ends but it made my hair feel soft and stronger. You know how when your ends are dry your fingers get stuck at the end when you run them through your hair? After using this that didn’t happen anymore and that was my ultimate test. I have fine hair which can be weighed down easily by product like these and this did not do that. My hair felt stronger, healthier and almost a bit thicker. I like the coconut-y smell and it stays all day.

No hay mucho que decir de este producto mas que hace lo que dice. Ofrece acondicionamiento profundo a el cabello reseco y dañado. No estoy diciendo que arreglo milagrosamente mis puntas pero si hizo que mi cabello se sintiera mas suave y fuerte. ¿Sabes como se trancan los dedos en las puntas del cabello cuando los corres por el pelo cuando esta reseco? Después de utilizar esto eso dejo de sucedes y esa fue mi mayor prueba de que si hace la diferencia. Tengo pelo fino que puede sentirse pesado con estos productos pero este no fue el caso. Mi cabello se sintió mas fuerte, saludable y en cierta forma un poco mas grueso. También me gusta el olor a coco que se siente todo el día.

I use this product about once a week to give it a boost. I think you could certainly use it everyday but I want to make sure that my hair doesn’t get used to it. I like to leave it in for much more than three minutes for a real deep conditioning and it has worked wonderfully. In conjunction with my other hair products I think this will definitely help keep my hair feeling healthy and help it on it’s journey to length. Mi goal is to have it grow enough so that I can donate it.

Utilizo este producto como una vez en semana para darle un “boost”. Probablemente se podría usar siempre que laves el pelo pero quiero asegurarme que mi pelo no se acostumbre a el y pierda el efecto. Me gusto dejarlo en el cabello por mas tiempo del recomendado para una humectación extra y ha trabajado muy efectivamente. En conjunto con el resto de mis productos de pelo creo que esto definitivamente ayudará a mantener mi pelo saludable y a que pueda crecer más. Mi meta es que crezca lo suficiente para poder donarlo.

What I Wore...Wedding Edition

As some of you may now, I had a cousin's wedding to attend last Saturday so I thought I'd show you what I wore. I wanted a really classy, sweet look and I really love how everything tied together. Beware! This post is picture heavy!

Lastly, a close-up of ma' head! I got the makeup inspiration from this picture on pinterest. For my hair I kept it up with a messy bun done by first putting my hair up in rollers to give it volume, then putting it in a messy side fishtail braid and lastly, pinning it into a bun. I also curled a couple of pieces that hung out and pinned them loosely back.

Scandalous Zebra Nails

I present to you yesterday's late night mani. I love how it turned out even though it got a little smushed (not a word? :P) while I was sleeping. I got Revlon's Scandalous about two weeks ago and was so excited to try it out! The zebra base color looks more blue than purple but I could not manage to take a photo were it appeared true to color. But oh well!, no more words and on to pictures!

Les presento mi última manicura creada ayer en la noche! Me encanta como luce aunque se aplastó un poco mientras dormía. Hace como dos semanas compré este esmalte Scandalous de Revlon y estaba desesperada por utilizarlo! El color base de las uñas con diseño de zebra se ve mas azul que violeta pero no logré tomar una foto donde luciera como luce en persona. Pero que mas dá!, no mas palabras y más fotos!

Zip Me Up in Pink Pearls

As I’m sure I’ve already stated here my favorite color is turquoise, but I don’t know what it is that these days I’ve just been obsessed with pinks and purples. Well, this sunday I was going out with my family as we always do and I decided I wanted to play a bit with all-over lid colors so I wandered into my mother’s makeup stash and this Lancome Color Design Sensational Effects Eye Shadow QUAD won me over. I felt like a little kid playing around with her mother’s “only for adults” makeup, but oh well, I’ll have to settle with borrowing my mother’s until someday I can afford some of my own.

Como probablemente ya les he mencionado mi color favorito es el turquesa, pero no se que me ha pasado en estos días que he estado obsesionada con los rosas y violetas. Este Domingo que me preparaba para salir con mi familia como usualmente lo hago decidí que quería experimentar un poco con color por todo el párpado y me encaminé a la gaveta de maquillajes de mi madre donde encontré este Lancome Color Design Sensational Effects QUAD de Sombras. Me sentí como una niña pequeña jugando con el maquillaje “solo para adultos” de mami, pero, que mas da, tengo que conformarme con esto hasta que algún día yo pueda permitirme el lujo de gastar en ellos.

-Makeover    -Pink Pearls
   -Zip Me Up   -Sultry Mauve

I used the purple metallic shade (Zip me Up) all over the lid and applied pink metallic shade (Makeover) on the outer third of my lid and moved it up into the crease. I then took the matte mauve shade (Sultry Mauve) and did sort of a cut crease but not too defined applying it just over my natural crease. Next, I took the lightest matte shade and applied in the inner corner and as a highlight. Lastly, I took a pencil brush and put the Makeover in the inner half of my lower lash line and Zip me Up in the outer half. I kept the blush natural using mostly bronzer to play up my tan and just a bit of blush, both from the Elf Blush & Bronzing Duo. My foundation was a light application of my Revlon ColorStay in Natural Tan, the lips were Maybelline Baby Lips in Grape Vine and the mascara was my Rimmel Sexy Curves (review).

Utilicé el color violeta metálico (Zip me Up) por todo el párpado y apliqué el rosa metálico en un tercio de la parte exterior del párpado, también lo difuminé por el pligue del párpado. Después tomé el color malva y hice algo como un “cut crease” pero no muy definido, aplicando un poco por encima del pliegue natural de mi párpado. Lo siguiente fue aplicar el color mas claro en la esquina interior de mis ojos y como iluminador debajo de las cejas. Por último coloqué Makeover en la mitad interior de la parte de abajo de mis ojos y Zip me up en la parte exterior. Lo mantuve bastante natural con el rubor, utilizando más bronceador que todo y solo un poco de blush del Elf Brush & Bronzing Duo. Para la base solo apliqué muy poco de mi Revlon ColorStay, en mis labios llevaba Maybelline Baby Lips en Grape Vine y la mascara era mi Rimmel Sexy Curves (reseña).

I really liked the look and it frustrated me a bit that my camera couldn’t pick up quite the intensity of the shadow on my lids. These shadows are amazing, incredibly pigmented and though intense did not over power my eyes. They lasted perfectly and make me even sadder that my pocket just can’t afford them, but someday I will, you just wait and see.

Me gustó mucho esta combinación y me frustra un poco que mi cámara no pueda capturar la intensidad de estas sombras justo como son. Las sombras son increíbles, muy opacas e intensas sin ser demasiado. Duraron perfectamente y me hacen más tristes todavía de saber que no dispongo del dinero para comprarlas, pero algún día podré, solo esperen a ver.

NOTD - Tonight's Gonna be a Good Night

I recently picked up three nail polishes of Fergie's new Wet N Wild collection and I was very excited to try them out. I decided to start with Tonight's Gonna be a Good Night because it is the first one that caught my eye, it is a combination of smaller black glitter and bigger gold glitters.

Recientemente pude comprar tres esmaltes de la nueva línea de Fergie de Wet N Wild y estoy loca por utilizarlos. Decidí utilizar primero Tonight's Gonna be a Good Night porque es el primero que me llamó la atención cuando escogía cuales llevarme en la tienda. Este esmalte es una combinación de brillos más pequeños negros y brillos más grandes dorados.

From Left to Right / De Izquierda a Derecha:

I used Wet N Wild's Under your spell which is a pretty maroon color and for the accent nail Sally Hansen's Xtreme Wear in Golden-I. I topped them all of with two thin coats of Tonight's Gonna be a Good night. I'm can't wait to try out this Fergie polish on its own opaquely, it should look really nice for a pure glitter accent nail.

Utilizé Under Your Spell de Wet N Wild como color base y en la uña del dedo anular utilizé Sally Hansen's Xtreme Wear en Golden-I.  Por último añadí dos capas finas de Tonight's Gonna be a Good Night sobre todas las uñas. No puedo esperar a utilizar este esmalte solo y opaca, debería verse muy bien como una uña de acento de puro brillo.

Maybelline Dream Fresh BB Review

Welcome to my first experience on the BB cream train. It seems that BB creams are in and just about every company out there is looking for a way to climb on board the BB bandwagon. First, let’s talk a bit of what a BB cream actually is. Blemish Balms are multifunction creams that have coverage and skin care properties, they act as a primer, a base, hydrate your skin, protect and have healing, soothing and anti-aging properties. BB creams are way more than just a tinted moisturizer and I’ve noticed that some companies seem to be using this BB cream label just to get with the times.

Bienvenidos a mi primera experiencia con un BB cream. Me parece que las cremas “BB” están de moda y casi todas las compañías están buscando una manera de ser parte de esta moda. En primer lugar, hablemos un poco de lo que es un BB cream. “Blemish Balms” o como se le podría llamar, bálsamo para imperfecciones, son cremas polifacéticas que ofrecen cobertura y propiedades de tratamiento para la piel. Estas cremas actúan como un “primer”, base, hidratan la piel, protegen y tienes propiedades regenerativas y de anti-envejecemiento. BB creams son mucho más que un humectante con color y he notado que muchas compañías están utilizando el nombre BB solo para ponerse al día sin realmente ofrecer estas propiedades.

Now that I’ve stated that, onto Maybelline’s Dream Fresh BB 8-1 Beauty Balm Skin Perfector. Is it me or do they seem to make these names longer every day? Anyway, I have this is the shade medium and I think it’s safe to say it’s about half a BB cream, maybe more like a better tinted moisturizer. This product claims to blur imperfections, enhance, brighten, adjust skin tone, smooth, hydrate, protect with an SPF of 30 and have 0% oils or other heavy ingredients. First off, I find it funny that on the label on the back the purpose reads ‘sunscreen’, the product itself is telling us, “I am not a BB cream!”. So let me tell you what it does not do, it does not blur imperfections, enhance, brighten or adjust skin tone. It also does not have any anti-aging properties. See what I mean with half a BB cream?, I just about eliminated half of the things a BB cream is supposed to do.

Ya que les hablé sobre lo que es un BB cream, comenzaré con mi reseña del Dream Fresh BB 8-1 Beauty Balm Skin Perfector de Maybelline. ¿Soy yo, o cada vez hacen estos nombres mas largos? Como sea, tengo este producto en el tono medium y creo que puedo acertar bastante en el hecho de que esto es como la mitad de un BB cream, tal vez mas como un mejor humectante con color. Este producto alega aclarecer imperfecciones, mejorar, iluminar, ajustar tono, alisar, hidratar, proteger con un SPF de 30 a la piel y tener 0% aceites o otros ingredientes pesados. Primero, encuentro gracioso que en la parte de atrás del empaque la misma etiqueta nos indica que el uso es para protección solar, el mismo producto nos dice, “¡No soy un BB cream!”. Ahora déjame decirte lo que este producto NO hace, no aclarece imperfecciones y no mejora, ilumina o ajusta el tono de la piel. Tampoco tiene propiedades anti-envejecientes. ¿Vieron a lo que me refiero con que es la mitad de un BB cream?, acabo de eliminar al menos la mitad de las propiedades que componen un BB cream.

All these things being said, there are things I like about it. But first be aware this has almost zero coverage, even less than some tinted moisturizers I’ve tried. It is a lightweight and extremely hydrating formula. It comes out like a light cream and gets more watery as you smooth it onto the skin. It feels wonderfully cooling on the skin, I have never tried anything that feels quite like this. It feels like you have nothing on the whole time you wear it and has never made my combo skin look oily.

Habiendo mencionado todas estas cosas, sí hay cosas que disfruto de este producto. Pero antes tengan en cuenta que apenas ofrece cobertura, menos aún que muchos de los humectantes con color que he probado antes. La fórmula es liviana y extremadamente humectante. Sale como una crema liviana que se vuelve mas como agua al difuminarla en la piel. Se siente hermosamente refrescante al aplicarla. Es como si no tuvieras nada en tu piel todo el tiempo que la tienes puesta y nunca ha hecho que mi piel combinación se vea grasosa.

What I like the most about this is that I actually feel like it smoothes out my skin when I apply it. After applying it everything looks and feels so smooth, it also minimizes a bit the look of my pores and provides a decent protection from the sun. For these reason I have found myself using it more as a primer under my powder foundation. I don’t really need a whole lot of coverage and I’ve found this BB cream to be perfectly lightweight to layer under my powder foundation in these hot summer months. It smoothes out the skin so I can apply my powder over it without making me feel like I have a heavy foundation under it that is just going to melt off. You can see how it looks under my powder foundation in my last FOTD.

Lo que más me agrada de este BB cream es que hace que mi piel se sienta y se vea mas lisa. También minimiza el tamaño visible de mis poros y provee una protección solar decente. Por estas razones lo he comenzado a utilizar como un “primer” debajo de mi base en polvo. Realmente no tengo demasiadas cosas que cubrir en mi cara y he encontrado que esta crema es perfectamente liviana para utilizar debajo de mi base en polvo en estos meses calurosos. Prepara una cara lisa para aplicar la base en polvo sin hacerme sentir que tengo una base pesada que solo se derretirá. Pueden ver el efecto que crea en mi última CDD (cara del día).

I will definitely use this up this summer (I’m not at all saying I hate it!) but will not be repurchasing. It simply does not offer what it claims and what little it does offer I feel I can get it in other actual “primer” products. I’m eager to try out more BB creams in the hopes of finding one that actually backs up its claims.

Definitivamente continuaré usando el producto (No he dicho que lo odio!) pero no volveré a comprarlo. Simplemente no ofrece lo que alega y lo poco que ofrece lo puedo adquirir de otros productos que realmente son “primers”. Sigo en la búsqueda de un BB cream que realmente provea lo que ofrece.

Yes to Cucumbers Body Butter Review

I want to start this post today with an enormous THANK YOU! Thank you to all of you who have seen something they like and have been willing to follow, I do promise to deliver. Quiero empezar la entrada de hoy con un GRACIAS enorme! Gracias a todos aquellos que han visto en mi blog algo bueno y han estado dispuestos a continuar siguiendolo. Nunca pensé que en solo un poco mas de un mes recibiera tanto apoyo de ustedes. Cada persona que me sigue, comenta o simplemente pasa por el blog significa mucho y les prometo que vienen mas grandes y mejores cosas. Por ahora todo lo que les puedo ofrecer es un gracias pero espero que este pequeño blog pueda seguir creciendo para así poder ofrecerle mas como sorteos y cosas así. Pero suficiente con la palabras sentimentales, ahora a la reseña del día.

I will be talking a bit about Yes to Cucumbers Completely Cooling Body Butter. The Yes to Cucumbers line of the Yes to Carrots products is designated for sensitive skin. This product claims to soothe and smooth sensitive skin while richly nourishing and moisturizing your body. “With the cool, calming effects of cucumbers, your stress will melt away as the creamy body butter melts into your skin!”. This product is made of 99.6% natural ingredients and free of Parabens, Petroleums and SLS. It combines organic cucumbers, aloe vera, spirulina and dead sea minerals to create a rich and truly fresh and soothing body butter. Before trying the Yes to Cucumbers body butter I had tried the Yes to Carrots and while good, I did not like it as much as I do this one. It is of a thick but not too thick consistency and when applied sinks into the skin easily not leaving a greasy residue and moisturizing perfectly. It has a lovely fresh smell and a little goes a long way. I find it  great for the summer when skin takes a bit more of a beating from the sun and I love it for just after shaving my legs to soothe and leave them soft and supple. While doing some research on the product I stumbled upon this description which I find completely accurate, “It is like a chapstick for the skin”. I could not find a better way to describe it, just as I depend on my Eos lip balm to keep my lips soft and supple, I depend on my Yes to Cucumbers Body Butter to keep my skin smooth and moisturized.

Estaré hablando un poco sobre el Yes to Cucumbers Completely Cooling Body Butter. Esta mantequilla corporal de la línea de Yes to Cucumbers es parte de los productos de Yes to Carrots y está designada para piel sensitiva. Este producto alega calmar y suavizar piel sensitiva y a la vez humectar y nutrir la piel. “Con el efecto calmante y refrescante de el pepino, tu estrés se derretirá como la mantequilla corporal cremosa se derretirá en tu piel!”. Este producto está hecho de 99.6% ingredientes naturales y libre de Parabenos, Petróleos y “SLS”. Combina pepinos orgánicos, aloe vera, “spirulina” y minerales muertos de mar para crear una mantequilla corporal realmente fresca, nutritiva y rica. Antes de utilizar esta mantequilla había utilizado la de Yes to Carrots, y aunque buena, no me gustó tanto como esta. Tiene una consistencia espesa pero no demasiado espesa y cuando aplicada es absorbida fácilmente por la piel sin dejar residuos grasosos y humectando perfectamente. Tiene un buen olor fresco y solo un poco da para mucho. Encuentro que es excelente para el verano cuando la piel sufre un poco mas por el sol y me encanta utilizarla justo después de afeitarme las piernas para calmar y dejarlas suaves. Mientras hacía un poco de investigación extra de este producto me topé con una descripción perfecta “Es como un chapstick para tu piel”. No hay mejor forma para describirlo, justo como dependo de mi bálsamo de Eos para mantener mis labios suaves dependo de mi mantequilla corporal para mantener mi piel suave y humectada.

This product is budget friendly and definitely a bang for your buck, I have even used this on my face on some occasions that it has gotten extremely dry and has been almost a miracle for it. I highly recommend it!

Este producto es bueno para el bolsillo y excelente para todo, en ocaciones lo he utilizado en la cara cuando se ha puesto extremadamente reseca y ha servido casi como un milagro. Lo recomiendo!

FOTD - Pop of Turquoise

Excuse the messy hair! / Perdonen el cabello!

Have I not said that my favorite color is turquoise? Well it is, so now you know. It is now 11:30 so hopefully I can write fast enough before this turns into a FOTY (face of the yesterday), so here I go. This is a go-to look for me when I want to play with some color and I find that I always get compliments on how nice the color looks on me so this had encouraged me to sport it often and I wanted to share it with you today. I don't find it particularly easy to where a bright color like this all over the lid, so this is what I do to incorporate colors like this into my looks most of the time. Let me know if you try it out!

No les he dicho que el turquesa es mi color preferido? Pues lo es y ahora lo saben. Ahora mismo son las 11:30 así que esperemos que pueda escribir lo suficientemente rápido para que esto no se convierta en una cara del ayer en vez de una cara del hoy, así que aquí voy. Este es un "look" que utilizo frecuentemente cuando quiero incorporar un poco de color a mi maquillaje de ojos, también he encontrado que recibo muchos buenos comentarios sobre cuan bien me queda en color y esto me ha animado a utilizarlo más. Quería compartir esta forma de incorporar color con ustedes porque personalmente no encuentro que es muy fácil utilizar un color brillante así por todo el párpado y esta es una buena manera de tener color pero sin hacerlo demás. Déjenme saber si lo intentan!

Pinky Purple Princess Nails

As promised I deliver a new nail art tutorial. Some pinky-purple princess nails. I picked up this new Wet n Wild purple polish and knew it would be used for my next look, I had wanted to use this technique for a while also, so I though, no better time than the present. I really wanted to pair the purple with a pink and when I realized it would look really girl I figured I’d take it all the way with some glitter. I hope this will be useful to you all and let me know if you try out my hairspray as glitter glue method.

Lo prometido es deuda y con este tutorial yo saldo la mía. Unas uñas rositas y violeta de princesa. Obtuve este esmalte violeta de Wet n Wild hace poco y sabía que lo tendría que utilizar para mi próximo diseño, también quería utilizar esta técnica por un tiempo y me entendí que no hay mejor tiempo que el presente. Quise combinar el violeta con un rosa y cuando me percaté que se vería muy de niña escogí llevarlo a otro nivel con un poco de brillos. Espero que les sirva de algo y que me dejen saber si intentan mi método de usar fijador de cabello como adhesivo para brillos.


What I used / Lo sue utilizé:

From Left to Right / De Izquierda a Derecha:

1. Sponge / Esponja

2. Wet n Wild 213C On a Trip

3. Bettina Coton Candy

4. Glitter

5. Suave Hairspray / Fijador de Cabello 

     (not in picture / no está en la foto)

Step 1 - Base Coat

Step 2 - Take your piece of sponge and paint the colors onto it in the proportion or order that you wish them to appear. You can use as many colors as you wish.

Step 3 - Press the sponge lightly onto the nail.

Step 4 - Do the same on the rest of the nails, then repeat more coats until they appear opaque.

Step 5 - When nail are dry to touch pick up some glitter with you finger and place it on the tip of your nail over most of the pink part.

Step 6 - Spray some hairspray holding it about a feet away from you nail, this will make sure the glitter stays put.

Step 7 - Apply a top coat to set it all in.

Paso 1 - Base

Paso 2 - Toma tu pedazo de esponja y pinta los colores en esta en la proporción y orden que deseas que aparezcan. Puedes utilizar cuantos colores desees.

Paso 3 - Presiona la esponja sobre la uña.

Paso 4 - Repita en el resto de las uñas cuantas capas necesarias para que luzca opaco.

Paso 5 - Cuando las uñas estén secan recoge un poco de brillos con tu dedo y aplique a la punta de la uña sobre la mayoría de la parte rosa.

Paso 6 - Aplique fijador de cabello a su uña, de una distancia de por lo menos un pie, para fijar los brillos.

Paso 7 - Aplique una capa final para fijarlo todo.

Update + mini haul

I know once again I’ve been AWOL the last few days, but once again I’ve been working hard to get my new apartment ready for the upcoming semester. It has been hard because it definitely was a fixer upper but I’m so happy with how’s it’s turning out. It still has a few things left to do, mainly decorations but I’m so particularly happy with how my turquoise bedroom turned out! Maybe I’ll do a post showing you how I decorated it, leave comments below if you’re interested.

Lo sé, llevo perdida estos últimos días, pero es que nuevamente continuo arreglando el nuevo apartamento que utilizaré este próximo semestre. Ha sido un poco difícil porque necesitaba mucho trabajo pero estoy muy contenta con como va quedando. Todavía falta algunas cosas por hacer, mayormente decorar, pero me hace feliz en particular como quedó my cuarto turquesa! Tal vez puedo hacer una entrada demostrándolo?, si les interesa comenten abajo.

Like I said, I’ve been cleaning and painting a lot so I’ve been bare-nailed because I find no point in painting them if I’m going to ruin them anyway, so I’ve had to settle with just thinking about up-coming designs. I’m probably going to be posting something up today I just have to figure out how I’m going to take decent pictures without any natural daylight. It has been sooo rainy here in Puerto Rico, which makes me sad because I haven’t had my sunny summer for the last couple of days, but at the same time makes me happy because temperatures have dropped (it has been reaching 100+!). Anyway, always thinking of new things I could get to review and support my blogging I went by my local Walgreens and so I leave you with this mini haul. I finally got my hands on Maybelline’s BB cream a couple of Wet’N’Wild polishes, which I love and plan to review soon and one Revlon polish. As for the BB cream, my initial reaction is “so-so”, but I’ll try it out for at least a week before writing a full review.

Como ya mencioné, he estado limpiando y pintando así que he mantenido mis uñas sin nada porque no encuentro sentido en pintarlas solo para dañarlas, así que me conformado con solo pensar en mis próximos diseños. Probablemente haré una entrada hoy, solo tengo que resolver el hecho de como lograré unas fotos decentes sin luz natural. Los días están tan lluviosos aquí en Puerto Rico! Esto me hace triste porque no tengo mi verano soleado puertorriqueño, pero a la vez me hace feliz porque ha bajado la temperatura (estaba llegando a los 100+!). Comoquiera, yo siempre pensando en nuevas cosas sobre las que escribir y rellenar mi blog pasé por mi Walgreens local y es así que los dejo con este “mini-haul”. Finalmente logré conseguí el nuevo BB cream de Maybelline y de una vez compré dos esmaltes Wet’N’Wild, de los que estaré escribiendo una reseña pronto, y uno Revlon. Con respecto al BB cream, my reacción inicial es que es regular, pero lo probaré por al menos una semana antes de escribir una reseña con una opinión concreta.
